Synthesizes best practices research and apply these findings to the development of effective communication techniques to foster active inquiry, collaboration, and guided interaction in a positive instructional technology learning environment.

 

Summary

The attached technology plan was designed for the computer services department at Northampton Community College (NCC) in Bethlehem, PA. The plan covers NCC's demographic, where their current technological set-up, and where they hope to take their level of technology over the next three years. The plan includes goals and objectives, activites to achieve the goals and objectives, and a proposed budget. 

 

Reflection

Oraganizing current technology and construting a plan that addresses technology upgrades over time, is time consuming and challenging. While I found this project extremely challenging, I think the technology plan is an amazing artifact. Working on this project gave me a very clear understanding of goals and objectives, and how important it is to write them well. I feel confident that I could enter a technology job and put the skills I acquired in this project to good use.
