Summary

Using iMovie, images, video, music and voice, the video biography project required blending various medias to create an artifact. The video biography challenged digital citizenship and called on creators to adhere to creative commons and copyright guidelines.  The video biography introduced editing, and how effectively editing strengthens the story and final product. The video audience experiences a personal connection with the project content and is also challenged to think about the critical composition of the project to inspire more of the same quality project construction.

 

Reflection

It's nice to reflect on parts of your life that may not be at the forefront everyday. Creatively, I had a lot of control in this project. It's true what the experts say: adding yourself into what you create does make the project more meaningful, and provides more motivation. This project made me aware of creative commons for the first time. As I continue through the program, I always refer back to my first introduction to copyright laws and the use of creative commons.
